The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has officially announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 today, June 2, 2025. Candidates who appeared for this prestigious engineering entrance exam can now access their scorecards on the official website:
All India Rank 1 (AIR 1): Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone secured the top position with a remarkable score of 332 out of 360.
All India Rank 2 (AIR 2): Saksham Jindal also achieved a score of 332, sharing the highest marks but placed second due to tie-breaking criteria.
Top Female Candidate: Devdutta Majhi from the IIT Kharagpur zone emerged as the highest-ranking female candidate, securing AIR 16 with a score of 312.

Qualified candidates are now eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2025 counselling process for admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Details regarding the counselling schedule and procedures will be available on the official JoSAA website.
Rajit Gupta, the AIR 1 holder, emphasized the importance of learning from mistakes and building a strong academic foundation. He credited his success to consistent effort and support from his family, particularly his mother.
