Application Process
Step 1: Check Eligibility
Before applying, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for the Basic B.Sc. (N) program:
Female and unmarried
Minimum age: 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission
Maximum age: 25 years on 31st December of the year of admission
Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board (AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or equivalent)
Step 2: Obtain Application Form
The application form can be obtained from the College of Nursing office at Tata Main Hospital, Northern Town, Bistupur, Jamshedpur, or downloaded from the hospital's website: https://www.tatamainhospital.com/
Step 3: Complete Application Form
Fill out the application form carefully and accurately. Attach all required documents, including:
Recent passport-size photograph
10th and 12th mark sheets
Character certificate from the last educational institution attended
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Medical fitness certificate
Step 4: Submit Application Form and Fee
Submit the completed application form along with the required documents and application fee (as specified in the prospectus) to the College of Nursing office.
Step 5: Entrance Exam
Eligible candidates will be called for an entrance exam conducted by the College of Nursing. The exam will assess aptitude and knowledge in science and English.
Step 6: Merit List and Counseling
A merit list will be prepared based on the entrance exam results. Candidates will be called for counseling based on their rank in the merit list.
Step 7: Admission
Selected candidates will be granted admission to the Basic B.Sc. (N) program at TMHSN.
