Application Process

1. Eligibility: Applicants must have a master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. 2. Application: Applicants must apply online through the SCRI website. The application form requires the following information: Personal details Academic qualifications Research experience Proposed area of research Supervisor preference (optional) 3. Entrance test: Eligible applicants will be required to appear for a computer-based entrance test (PET). The PET will consist of two parts: Part 1: Research methodology (50 marks) Part 2: Subject-specific (50 marks) 4. Personal interview: Shortlisted applicants will be called for a personal interview with a panel of experts. The interview will assess the applicant's research aptitude, motivation, and subject knowledge.
