Application Process

Depending on the course you intend to apply for, the IISWBM admissions procedure differs. You must take the CAT exam and obtain a score higher than the cutoff to be considered for the MBA and MHRM programs. The next step is to enroll in the preferred course either online or offline by completing the application form and attaching the necessary paperwork and payment. You will then be chosen to advance to the Group Discussion and Personal Interview stages

IEM accepts a variety of national and state-level entrance tests, including JEE Main, WBJEE, CAT, MAT, GATE, and others, for admission to its programs. For some of the courses23, it also administers its own entrance test under the name IEMJEE.

Candidates who wish to be considered for MBA admission at IEM must take one of the following exams: CAT, MAT, CMAT, JEMAT, or IEMJEE.

Yes, candidates are not required to take the WBJEE exam in order to be admitted to the BTech program. WBJEE scores are not taken into account by UEM while granting admission to the BTech program. However, based on their performance in the IEMJEE, candidates are narrowed down for the BTech program and then go through counseling. Candidates for BTech specializations must have completed both Class 10 and Class 12 with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 70% and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required courses in Class 12

The maximum salary received by B.Tech graduates in the preceding academic year of 2022–2023 was 12LPA, while the average salary is 5LPA. Accenture, PepsiCo, Jockey, Tata Capital, and other companies frequently hire at FIEM in Kolkata.
