Application Process

Based on the results of the CAT and JEMAT, the Army Institute of Management in Kolkata offers admission to postgraduate programs. Based on the candidate's performance in the CAT/JEMAT exam as well as the Group Discussions/Personal Interviews (GD/PI) conducted by AIM Kolkata, the final merit list will be created. Based on their CAT results, candidates would be contacted for GD and PI to confirm their AIMK admission.

The eligibility criteria for admission to AIMK are: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Valid CAT score.

The admission process at AIMK is as follows: Shortlisting of candidates based on their CAT scores. Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) of shortlisted candidates. Final selection of candidates based on their overall performance in the CAT, GDPI, and academic record.

AIMK has a very good placement record. In 2023, 100% of the MBA students graduating in July 2023 have already been placed, and one out of every three students has received dual offers. The average salary is INR 8.00 LPA, and the highest package offered is INR 15L PA.
