The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) as the gateway for admission to prestigious engineering institutes like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and also as the eligibility test for JEE Advanced for IIT admissions. Every year, the exam is held in multiple sessions to provide flexibility and reduce stress for candidates, and JEE Main 2026 is expected to follow the same structure.

Expected Sessions of JEE Main 2026

JEE Main 2026 will likely be held in two sessions:

  • Session 1: January 2026

  • Session 2: April 2026

This two-phase approach allows students to appear in both attempts, and the best score among the two will be considered for the final merit list.
