The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026 is the gateway to undergraduate admissions across central, state, and private universities in India. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), CUET aims to create a uniform platform for students seeking admission to prestigious institutions like Delhi University, BHU, JNU, and many others.
The admission process begins with online registration on the official CUET website, where candidates must create an account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Next, applicants select their desired universities and pg or ug courses from the list of participating institutions. After filling out the form, students must upload required documents such as photographs, signatures, and category certificates (if applicable).
Once the application form is complete, the CUET application fee must be paid online through debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking. After successful payment, students can download the confirmation page as proof of submission. The NTA will later release admit cards, followed by the Entrance exam in multiple shifts across India. After results are declared, universities will conduct their individual counseling rounds based on CUET scores and merit lists.
